Chairman’s Message

In 2004, Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre (Jurong) was founded with a clear mission: to bridge the gap between
those in need and those who can offer support. Over the past 20 years, we have steadfastly served the community in
Jurong, adapting and expanding our services to meet the evolving needs of our service users. Our commitment is to
act as a catalyst for positive change, leveraging our strong network of community partners to provide essential
services and support.

The past year has been transformative for Loving Heart (Jurong). We witnessed a significant increase in demand for
our services and the strengthening of our partnerships, particularly in the areas of food security and youth support.
The overwhelming generosity of our community members and partners, who donated essential items and contributed
invaluable labour, was instrumental in supporting this expansion.
We also continued to enhance our support for our youth and children service users. With the invaluable backing of our
kind donors, we expanded the RISE programme in partnership with the School of Concepts (SOC) and Boon Lay GROs.
This initiative aims to strengthen English literacy among young learners through innovative and creative methods,
including storytelling and robotics. Our Free Tuition programme has thrived, now serving over 100 students with the
unwavering dedication of our volunteer tutors, deployed over two sites. The Meal & Transport Scheme (MTS) remains
a cornerstone of our efforts, ensuring that no students are deprived of access to daily meals and public transport.
Since its inception in 2023, the Scheme has been greatly expanded and sustained through partnerships with schools
and now encompasses a tertiary tranche with a service-learning component.
As we look to the future, we remain committed to our mission of fostering a compassionate and resilient community.

volunteers and staff members, we are poised to make an even greater impact in the lives of those we serve. Thank you
